Corporate etiquette is one of the essential requirements for bringing success in an organization. Good manners will help us in getting a good impression and knowing that we are behaving appropriately helps us feel free and relaxed and hence we can focus on our business confidently. Good manners save us time as we don’t need to spend time soothing hard feelings or making up for mistakes. People like to do business when we make them feel comfortable. We get successful encounters as we adopt small talk skills which include smile, open posture, forward lean, tone, eye contact and nod which help us in getting through hardships.
